At completion of this course participants should be able to:

• Understand the new sedation rules as they apply to nitrous oxide and sedation permit holders. Some of the recently adopted rules apply to all permit holders including nitrous oxide and whereas the rest are specific to level 2, 3, and 4 permit holders.
• Office emergency policies, protocols and equipment specific to each permit holder will be reviewed and all requirements based upon the level of sedation permit will be discussed.
• Prepare yourself for provider inspections by understanding the pertinent points to a successful inspection process and participate in a mock provider inspection utilizing TSDBE criteria.
